PrimaLoft® Insulations offer down-like comfort with superior performance qualities. It consists of a patented microfibre structure which helps the body to keep warm and preserve energy. PrimaLoft® was originally developed for the U.S. Army as a replacement for down in terms of its insulation and warmth preservation performance. In contrast to down, however, PrimaLoft® has a superior water repellency which retains body and hands warm even when wet. PrimaLoft® is very soft and light, wind resistant and breathable.
